Call for Articles

The next edition of VOX will be on the topic “INDIVIDUAL AND COMMUNITY”.

Possible topics include, among others:
-Is the whole greater than the sum of the parts?
-Is there an insoluble tension between the individual and the community?
- Liberalism vs communitarianism.
- Individual and community responsibilities.

-Micro- vs. macroeconomics – an artificial distinction?
- The aggregation problem in economics.
- The Robinson Crusoe economy.
- International community vs. sovereign states.

-Individual and social identity: cultures, civilizations and violence.
-Sartre and The Other.
